BWF Announced Badminton Qualifiers for TOKYO 2020 Olympics


TOKYO: Finally the Badminton World Federation (BWF) announced the final list of player who qualify for the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

A total of 87 male and 86 female players representing 50 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) from the five Continental Confederations have been selected.

Due to Pandemic the Tokyo Olympics already delayed for a year, now scheduled has been started will be late july and early August.

Tokyo 2020 Games fact:

Rio 2016 Olympic Games men's singles gold medalist Chen Long (China) is the only defending champion in any of the five categories.

Badminton players are renowned for fair play, and this will be another occasion where you show the world that while you are tough competitors, you compete in the best spirit of sport. The draw for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics will be held at 2pm BST on Thursday 8 July 2021 at the National Badminton Centre in Milton Keynes, England and will be Live Streamed on BWF channels.
